Between 7 to 14 days, you’ll notice the initial mushrooms emerging. Afterward, they’ll continue to sprout all around. Regular checks may reveal their steady growth, increasing by a few centimeters each day. Harvesting might be possible in 3 to 4 days, followed by a drying period before further examination.
To harvest, wear gloves and gently twist and pinch the mushrooms between your fingers; they should come off easily. They’re delicate, and touching them might temporarily darken the area, which is normal and not a cause for concern about contamination or decay.
After harvesting, don’t discard the container. The mycelium might remain active, potentially producing another batch in a few days. Under ideal conditions, you might even harvest mushrooms three or four times from a single container.
